I am an assistant professor of finance at the McIntire School of Commerce – University of Virginia. My primary research areas are firm growth, innovation and R&D, and the impact of information on investor behavior. I currently teach Intermediate Corporate Finance.

A new draft of “Is News Really News: The Effects of Selective Disclosure Regulations” is now available! We show that before legislation enacted to prevent such practices, information leaked via selective disclosure was incorporated into market prices prior to public release of news. “`News days” did not deliver news to the market. Now they do.
