In the classroom

I teach corporate finance from first principles, helping students reason through unfamiliar problems and defend their conclusions.

I use question-level assessment to diagnose misunderstandings and improve the course, and train and mentor student teaching assistants.

Earlier teaching

At the University of Rochester, I taught MBA corporate finance and mathematical tools for PhD students. At UVA, I have also supervised independent-study students.
